When LA schools close but parents still have to work, Purple Duck opens its doors for creative playdates. Our Open Studio days give kids the freedom to explore art at their own pace, with thoughtfully designed stations stocked with tools and materials.

Our facilitators guide kids on how to use the tools at each station safely—but after that, the creative direction is entirely their own. Whether they’re sketching, painting, cutting with a champ saw, building structures or inventing something totally unexpected, children get to follow their instincts in a warm, supportive environment.
